About Checkers
American checkers is the game offered here, and it is free to open in a browser. The board is a real-time 3D view when WebGL is present and a flat view when WebGL is absent. Choose a computer opponent or enter the public online queue.
Computer opponents come with three difficulty settings. Easy is applied automatically at the start, and any other choice waits until the next game. This browser is where computer progress and scores are kept. A game server separate from this page is what accepts or refuses an online move.
Men move only forward on the diagonal, and you win if the other side has no legal move. Capture is forced when a capture is available, and a king may move and jump backward. Those points, plus practical strategy examples, are what the guide says about the variant used here. The board assets page is the explanation of the visual materials.
