THE RULES OF CHECKERS
KNOW YOUR NEXT JUMP.
Black moves first. Men move one square diagonally forward on dark squares. A capture is mandatory whenever one is available. Continue a chain of jumps with the same piece.
English draughts on an 8 × 8 board. Reach the far row to become a king and move or capture in either diagonal direction. Crowning ends the turn. Win when your opponent has no legal move.
